Agnes has been slowly losing weight for a while. I had her blood tested and she's in the early stages of kidney failure, which is making her eat less than she needs to. Sadly this can't be fixed, but she'll start on a special diet tomorrow which should slow the rate at which it progresses. Between this and a stomach bug she had last week she's been sleeping a lot.

Daisy seems to have made a permanent home on top of her old cage. She lived in it for a while but one day discovered she could climb up on top where I had left some bedding to dry. Now she lives on top and only climbs back in to use the litter tray. I think she enjoys being able to watch everyone else from a place of safety, although the only other cat upstairs is Agnes. I'd prefer for her to move around more, but she seems happy here.
